These small inserts are hex screw insert made for Automotive industry. The material is 42CrMo,which has high hardness, so that the part can tolerate the pressure during the assembling. It requires several different CNC machining process, from general rough turning, edge milling, to accurate screw machining.

As the material is not stainless steel, so we have to make plating to resist rust. As this is for Automotive manufacturing, we choose the zinc nickel plating, which has passed the 720 hours salt spray test. After the plating, client requires the machined parts to be rubber coated, which can help seal up without loosing.
